Moving 一位 here from the main 一位 entry.
However - none of the kokugos seem to have "一位" for Quercus gilva...? Perhaps it should be split out then? Because the two words are only sharing one kanji, 櫟:
一位 櫟 yew
櫟 赤檮 石櫧 oak

mk does lead with 櫟 over 一位 in its yew entry but koj, daij don't even have 櫟(いちい) entries at all, so I think 一位 should lead for the yew.

クヌギ is indeed an oak, but a different one - Quercus acutissima. 櫟/いちい can be both Taxus cuspidata (yew) and Quercus gilva (oak). There's no clean way to represent this mess. I'll see if this change works.
Quercus gilva is usually いちい樫/イチイガシ. Only the kokugos have 櫟/いちい with that meaning.

I think this has got right away from Hendrik's 2010 entry for と見られる. I can see と見られる in heaps of places, including in Eijiro sentences, GG5 examples, Tanaka sentences, etc.

  Comments:
When "adj-f" first emerged and got described as "noun or verb acting prenominally" I think I had in mind that the verb would either not be conjugating or was conjugated already, as in 得も言われぬ or ああいった. Then along comes 信用できる/信用できない and mucks things up. I'm very tempted to say that if a verb is usually prenominal, don't have a v1/v5x tag. I think that should work, and 信用できない can fend for itself. Of course 食べる doesn't get an "adj-f".
So, I guess I'm back to Marcus' earlier position, and drop the verb tag for these cases.
11. A* 2018-06-25 20:01:42  Rene Malenfant <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
seems like the adj-f is unneeded. e.g., 食べるもの means 'things to eat', but we don't mark 食べる or any other verb as adj-f. i suggest adj-f not be used anywhere that it's tagged as a verb

Could that be because it's also a name? I don't know if Unidic includes names.
I can't find any other references to that definition. If it's just NicoNico slang (which I think it is), we can probably ignore it.

As it's a character in a 画集 I moved Rick's previous submission to the name dictionary. Does anyone think it should be in JMdict?

A youkai. Supposedly the vengeful spirit of a man who worked long and hard making his fields productive and green, only to see all his work go to nothing when the land passes to the next generation.
