I think it is better to split. 省みる is only ever used for sense 3.

GG5, 中辞典 and ルミナス have them merged, but use 省みる in examples for that sense. Daijirin splits, but notes on the 省みる entry: "「顧みる」と同源".

We'd be breaking ranks a bit to split, but it might be useful.
I see that all 7 example sentences (http://www.edrdg.org/cgi-bin/wwwjdic/wwwjdic?1Q�ܤߤ�_1_) have it in the literary negative form, esp. かえりみず.

I've noticed that ナニ (always in katakana) is frequently used in Japanese subtitles of English-language movies/TV shows with the meaning "penis". I asked a native speaker if this is really an established expression (when I first saw it) and they commented it's at least commonly used like this in subtitles. 

It's really a subsense of sense 2 but it seems common enough to get its own sense. "masturbation"/"to have sex" don't seem quite as common (and I haven't encountered the word used like that in the wild/in Jp subtitles either)

I considered creating a separate kana-only entry for ナニ but it can be and is of course used with other senses of 何 too and I wouldn't want to direct users looking up the more innocuous use to the wrong entry.

vs-s don't conjugate as ~さない.  they conjugate as a regular する verb.  the reason 愛する *appears* to conjugate as 愛さない is because of the verb 愛す, which is conjugating as v5s.  many/most vs-s verbs (~する) have v5s (す) counterparts

Along with 重い罪 this is one of two 重いX entries drawn from a kanji dictionary to illustrate 
a less common sense of 重い. GG5 and other EJs have heaps of these 重いX subentries.
I had wanted to keep these two as they are not the usual 重い = heavy cases, but I won't
