There is an album titled ミーちゃんハーちゃん from 1982 that may be contributing to the difference. *みーちゃんはーちゃん: This one gets a fair number of hits on ngrams compared to みいちゃんはあちゃん but I was unable to find any usage of it online, including even a single site that listed it as an alternative spelling. Therefore I did not add it to the entry. **ミーチャンハーチャン: Returns almost 1/4th as many results as みいちゃんはあちゃん. I did find examples of this being used to mean faddist/follow-the-crowd type, although it seems to be a largely outdated spelling.
