Each yaku in the hand has a han value, which are summed together to get the hand's final han value. If han value is < 5, the formula is fu * 2 ^ (han + 2), rounded up to the nearest 100 points. If han value >= 5, the hand is worth mangan / haneman / baiman etc. points. This value is not quite the final score, but depends on the method of win (tsumo or ron) and the player (east or not). It is generally multiplied by 4 or 6 depending on those two factors. Most people just use a chart for this. See also entries 1915790 and 2754210. |
