  Comments:
Welcome to JMdict, Nicolaus.

"Food porn" is far from obscure. The Japanese
word itself is slang and could be considered
offensive for its casual reference to terror.
Although the (largely hypothetical) potential
for offensiveness might be different, I think
it's a good match in register. Finding the
right translation is always a balancing act,
especially for slang, but I'm not seeing at
all any issues with having "lewdness" (which I
frankly struggle to see in expression "food
porn") in the first gloss.

Also, we don't add usage notes on the English
glosses, only on the Japanese itself. There
could be advantages to adding such notes, but
since something like that would affect a lot
of entries, that discussion would be best
suited for our Github:

The English slang would be "food porn" which something even most English speakers have never heard of.
Can we please keep the lewdness out of being the primary definition?
I realize this is going back and forth, so maybe moving the "food porn" part to the parentheses keeps this congruent yet more appropriate.

In our entry for オーラス, Paul Upchurch called it "the final hand" rather than "the final round", with the comment:
"I'm tempted to refer to a 局 in mahjong as a "round", rather than a "hand", since a game can stay in a given 局 for multiple hands. But
we currently refer to mahjong 場 as rounds (e.g. in the entry for 半荘), and if we instead used "round" for 局, I'm not sure how we'd
refer to 場."
Our 局 entry, on the other hand, only has "game (of go, shogi, etc.)". In 場, there is a "round" sense.

"Tokyo Shimbun reporter Nobuyuki Suzuki compared Japan’s nursing care system to Germany’s and France’s and found one glaring
difference. Japan’s system comprises seven categories of care: two for yoshien (support) and five for yokaigo (nursing care).
Support care level 1 is for seniors who can feed and bathe themselves and use the toilet without assistance — basically the
caregiver provides housekeeping services. Support care level 2 is the same but may also involve a minimal amount of body contact.
France and Germany do not provide services that are equivalent to yoshien 1 and 2, and thus their expenditures are manageable. The
cost of yoshien 1 support is about ¥50,000 a month; for yoshien 2, it’s ¥100,000."
