I'm not sure it's that good an idea. See the results from the EJs above. None of them use 義姉, 義妹, etc. Only one uses the 義 kanji, and that's in the vague "義理の姉". 
I think we have to reflect that 義姉 means primarily "sister-in-law". 
I'm suggesting that "step.." goes in a sense of its own, and tagged so that people won't think it's the usual term.

How about using the same gloss but without "2-year"? I would maybe change it to "form of automatically-renewing mobile phone contract with a limited cancellation window and high early cancellation fees".
We could add a note like "usu. as 2年縛り or 4年縛り".
Given that it's not always in the form "2年縛り", I think this is a better approach.

I don't see how anything meaningful can be added to 縛り which would help someone decode ２年縛り satisfactorily. It's really a very elliptical term.
