There's a sentence including "視覚的イメージ" in EDR日英対
訳辞書 where it's translated as "visual image." Not 
immediately helpful.

I think you could make an argument for having a separate 
"reputation" sense: daijs 「企業イメージを高める」, prog: 
"これは我が党のイメージアップになる" but I think that's also 
sort of contained in the current sense 1.

Somehow I didn't notice that リョーマチ was in the kokugos.

リョーマチ is in koj, sankoku (7th edition but not 8th), iwakoku, smk, and shinsen.
Two of those refs say it's from Dutch, but it doesn't seem worth a split entry. I think we should at least record it.
