	Comments:	I think the definition is missing a meaning. I keep running across this word and when I look it up, the current meanings don't quite fit the context. What I've seen is more like the example sentence (彼女は夫のそばにぴったり寄り添っていた。 She stood close to her husband.), where ぴったり means something more like "next to", "close to", or "clinging to". You can use your preferred wording if you think it's worth adding :-)

	Comments:	GG5 seems to think they're OK (and English dictionaries agree), but certainly, you're unlikely to see "dispiritedly" or "downheartedly" in proper writing. Because JMdict is primarily for English speakers, I don't think glosses have to sound natural; the important thing is that the meaning is conveyed. For that reason, I don't have a problem with awkward adverb glosses here. But I can see why others would disagree so feel free to change them.
