There are two types of chocolates, “Giri- choco” (obligation chocolate), and “Honmei-choco”. Comments: | Rene is of course right. I should have provided ngrams; here they are. They show why we have 偶に [adv] as a separate entry with a (P) tag, instead of just saying that it is implied by 偶 [adj-na]. |

Comments: | i'm fine with deleting it. i don't know that just saying that we have 偶 as "adj-no" passes as an argument for deleting it though. 偶 is also "adj-na" but we have a separate entry for 偶に (even though that's implied by adj-na). |
|
3. | D* 2017-02-09 22:28:41 Jim Breen <...address hidden...> | |
Comments: | I'm inclined to agree, but I see when Rene put it in in 2008 he wrote "this is the way new century and meikyo have it. might be useful for something/someone." We already had the 偶 entry then. I'd prefer to wait and see what he thinks. |

Comments: | I am trying "new" this time! As with "内なる," the dictionary references seem scarce, however, usage is fairly high. See Google hits which are over 100k. In many texts, the two [内なる and 外なる] are used side by side, e.g., "inner self and outer self." I guess that I could expand greatly upon the persuasion and the examples, but because you have agreed to include "内なる," I guess that you would prefer a minimalistic approach on this submission. |
