Comments: | in English birds that show the described beaviour are called precocial or nidifugous bird. I am not aware if there is a noun describing their action of leaving the nest in the English language. German for example knows it as 'Nestflucht' As for the third meaning in the reference link, I have never encountered that meaning and was unable to translate it whithout needing several lines, thus omitting it. |
