Comments: | In the quoted sentence: "同署は勤務管理の状況などについて、関係者から事情 を聴く方針。" I agree it's an issue the first word suggested for the 方針 here is "policy", because it's wrong and could be misunderstood to mean "the police have a general policy of hearing everybody involved" (which they probably do, but that's not what the sentence says). If we had two senses, we'd get around that. |
