As a general rule I think we shouldn't mix up entries with 全角 alpha headwords with glosses that don't relate to them.In this case I think it would be better if the GUT gloss moved off to joun the GUT/ジーユーティー entry, as occurs with the MIS [ミス;エムアイエス] and DAT [ダット;ディーエーティー] entries.

The indirect language here isn't doing any favors for the intelligibility of this sense, which I think is already difficult to understand at a glance.

Reordering glosses.
I don't think we need a separate noun sense. Noun usage is really uncommon (there are no examples in the JEs or kokugos). Also, "crank" is not correct; there's no "その人" meaning in the kokugos. That Tanaka sentence is not a direct translation.
変屈 is so obscure I think we can drop it.

I approved the change proposed by Robin, but I note that GG5 leads with noun glosses and of the two Tanaka sentences using the term, one uses the noun:

Also Eijiro has one gloss.
This may be an occasion where we have both.

"Blackish green" is a very poor translation, presumably taken from the Sanseido online dictionary.

Here is a good described using this colour:

Here is a search engine description:

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=利休色&t=ffcm&atb=v64-7&iax=images&ia=images

Here is an extended discussion:

https://kotobank.jp/word/利休色-193032

I would call that colour "beige" or "khaki" but "blackish green" possibly should be deleted.

FWIW, this is apparently a bit lighter than 目を瞑る, which emphasizes *shut*. (〜閉じる is also just “lower one’s eyelids“)

里斯本

1. [n]

  Comments:
I agree. I was very doubtful on this one.
3. A* 2017-10-23 10:48:05  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
There's no "「里斯本」とも当てた" note in the kokugos (as there is with other cities like London and Paris).
I doubt this kanji form was ever really used in Japanese. Too obscure to include, in my view.
2. A* 2017-10-23 02:15:38  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
We have リスボン as an entry already (リスボン), so this kanji form could go there as an ateji, as with 巴里/パリ. 里斯本 is the Chinese rendering, and I see almost all the WWW hits are referring to the Chinese term in some way, e.g. articles about the 里斯本地帶餐廳 in Macau. The Japanese Wiktionary article (https://ja.wiktionary.org/wiki/里斯本) is about the Chinese name.
Can it really be regarded as a Japanese alternative rendering?

Usually ルミナス is not bad, but in this case it's the only reference for this entry. I think I'll regard it as an aberration and drop it.
4. A* 2017-11-02 03:35:09  Rene Malenfant <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
in general, is ルミナス a trustworthy source for okurigana, or do they do that thing that nikkoku and old versions of kojien do, where they write all the headwords as kanji-only without any okurigana in them? (i don't think i've ever looked at ルミナス.)

i feel like it should be 姨捨て, and 姨捨 would be io except in compounds (or names). i also think 姥捨 might be io in the 姥捨て entry
3. A* 2017-10-24 07:10:25  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>

You're right. I should have looked more closely at the entry.
ルミナス和英辞典 has:
おばすて 姨捨
-> うばすて
The Wikipedia article begins: "Ubasute (姥捨て, "abandoning an old woman", also called obasute ....".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubasute
It's also a locality/station near Nagano.
