i can't speak for japanese, but i'm certain that 'oxidation' and 'oxygenation' are not used interchangeably in english.  i.e., you have 'oxygenated blood' in your arteries, not 'oxidated blood'.  all my refs suggest "oxygenation" is much, much better as 酸素化.
