Comments: | Probably not worth making a カラーキー/カラー・キー entry as the gloss would be a problem. I'll index the カラー in that sentence to sense 4. |

Comments: | That's a separate sense but I'm not sure it's needed, especially if it only appears in compounds. There are plenty of other technical meanings of キー/"key" that I didn't bother to include. |

Comments: | The two senses have different meanings. "Dead heat" refers specifically to a situation where two or more competitors finish at exactly the same time. I don't think the sports tag is necessary here. It's not jargon. I wouldn't use the sports tag for Esports-related terms but that's something that could be discussed. I can't imagine that there are many Esports terms we'd want to add. |

Comments: | It was my assumption that [adv] is used for regular adverbs (e.g. 必ず), [n-adv] is used for nouns that can function as adverbs (e.g. 半分), and [n-t] is used for time-related nouns that can function as adverbs (e.g. 今日, 来月). But going by these definitions, there is no consistency whatsoever in the database. 一切 is tagged n-adv but 全て is tagged adv, 一部 is tagged n-adv but 全部 is tagged n-adv *and* n-t. 前日 is tagged both n-adv and n-t but 翌年 only n-t. Until someone explains to me what exactly adv, n-adv, and n-t are supposed to mean, I can't use them with any confidence. Perhaps Jim can chime in? |

Comments: | I'm here to raise an objection to removing the antonyms. This is a term like "analogue watch", which is only used in contrast to "digital watch". The only reason to specify 片切スイッチ would be in contrast to a two-way or intermediate switch, otherwise one could just say スイッチ since this is a normal switch. > (unless we are going to xref all switch types) We have done that, there aren't any other types of switch that need to be contrasted with this. |
