We do have a pos [unc] unclassified

I could go either way. I see Daijirin has an entry for ゐ (五十音図ワ行第二段の仮名。現在は「い」と発音上区別がなく、現代仮名遣いではこの仮名を用いない。しかし、歴史的仮名遣いでは「い」と区別して用いる。)

There are two senses here. I'll amend the other note entries once this is approved.
I've only ever seen the French "le" transcribed as "ル". I think we can drop that sense.
