Comments: | If we're going to tag this as wasei, I don't think "last boss" should be included as a gloss. Alternatively, we could drop the wasei tag; there are plenty of examples of "last boss" online. However, it's not the standard term, and I think it's more likely that ラストボス came from ラスト + ボス than from "last boss". I've only ever seen/heard "final boss". |
