I think I'll let it go for now. For 外来語 we merge if they are variants of the same word, so ダイヤモンド and ダイアモンド are merged, but ディアマン isn't. In this case they are not really coming from the same word.

same principle as 婚活 and 就活. It is often used when 
talking about dating applications like tinder. 恋活 is 
more specific to finding a romantic partner or a one 
night stand and not necessarily someone you would want to
