Along with 駅, 停車場 used to be the standard term for "railway station". That usage is now dated/obsolete. 停車場 is still used but with a more general meaning. A railway station is an example of a 停車場, but you wouldn't say "停車場で会おう" for "Let's meet at the station".

I can't easily stop it happening as 人手/ひとで is a perfectly valid kanji/reading combination for two entries, so I can't force it to be unique. The indexing of examples in wwwjdic is on kanji+reading.
I *could* combine the entries, but I think that's the tail wagging the dog.
I'll leave this open for a bit - someone else might have a suggestion.

seems to mean ここ in Chinese (http://ja.wiktionary.org/wiki/這裡). There are 3 mentions inside Aozora texts. The two first are from a Chinese text that's quoted (http://www.aozora.gr.jp/cards/000250/files/43720_33018.html and http://www.aozora.gr.jp/cards/001520/files/54958_53049.html), so they're useless.

The second one has it as "こちら", in the sense of here/ここ.

這 in this case is apparently a word from the Song dynasty meaning 此 ("this").
