Comments: | I'm not at all convinced by that 2nd sense (no reference!). Daijirin has: "日本画の最後の仕上げで、薄くなった線描きを濃い絵の具でかき直す" and 広辞苑 has something similar. That looks like going over the outlines of a painting, not a "transcription". |
