I've been thinking about this entry for a while and my feeling is that it should probably go.
It's not really an expression but a grammar point. ようが is just one example of the volitional form.
I know there are sentences linked to it but I think this is better explained by a grammar dictionary. I note we don't have ようと, which is used in exactly the same way.
