1. [n,adj-no] {mathematics}

OK. I'll add "whole number" to 非負整数 and link it back.
5. A* 2016-08-14 12:00:23  Mislav Blažević <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
It kinda is a problem, because "whole number" refers to non-negative integers, which is 非負整数 in Japanese. Loosely, "whole number" is also informally used to refer to natural numbers, which is 自然数 but it never refers to integers, which 整数 explicitly refers to (see: http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/jn/121991/meaning/m0u/整数/ ) So that gloss is very misleading IMO.
4. A* 2016-08-14 11:42:42  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
But isn't removing "whole number" unnecessary, as whole number are always integers? All of the JEs I looked at have both. Is it a problem?

The 宮号 is awarded by the Emperor to a Prince who build a new family (miyake), in general when he marry. The title can be inherited by his son, but not before the death of the holder of the title. Officially, only present or past head of the miyake can be called using the "XXX no miya". His wife will be called "XXX no miya-hi", but the children who are not independant yet should not (officially) by called using the 宮号. (Wikipedia)

no, an old-fashioned donut is one that uses cake batter instead of yeast-based dough. usually served plain, or topped with glaze or granulated sugar. the top left one in this image is old-fashioned (also the bottom right is a chocolate old-fashioned); all the rest of the donuts in there are made with yeast dough:

all that convincing though (not sure how widely it's used
