Comments: | "Room" has a lot of uses in English, and many map straight into Japanese. Trying to cover them all would be cumbersome. I'm not convinced this one needs fixing as an alternative sense. |

Comments: | A Japanese person has contacted me about this, pointing out it doesn't mean "promiscuous person" but simply a nice/simple person, which is quite compositional. This is an old entry, and there is no way the check back that far. I think it's best deleted. |

Comments: | To restrict a sense to a particular surface form or reading, put "[きそば]" etc. among the tags before the first gloss. HOWEVER in a case like this where there are senses which are mutually exclusive according to reading, it needs to be split into separate entries as it breaks the "2-out-of-3" combining rule (only the kanji part is common.) Comments: | Clarify/correct definition. AFAICT, this is a *general* term for chilled, plated soba (regardless of specific serving dish). As per the references (most directly WP), it’s used relatively interchangeably with ざるそば and せいろそば (to the point that the 国語辞書 often *define* it that way), but as usage and etymology make clear, it’s “plated” soba generally, as opposed to being in a bowl of broth. Usage is confusing enough that I’d propose linking to ざるそば and せいろそば for clarity. |

Comments: | This appears to be a musical rhythm unique to Japan. Encountered the expression in translating a manga, but cannot seem to find much specific about what it is. The text associated with the expression was: な・ん・て 言・え・る 気・が・し・ま・せ・ん・よ! (思わず三三七拍子) |
