koj, daij, gg5, prog, nc, etc.

i just noticed that [physics] tag results in it being labelled "physics terminology" whereas [math] just results in "mathematics".  is there any way to get the "terminology" dropped for the sake of consistency?

I agree it doesn't look right having a list of species under one sense, and I'm not convinced it's necessary to mention them at all (except maybe one or two as examples).

I don't think we should have to do a note here. What I reacted to is that this is not how we usually do these entries. Each line has 
a completely separate gloss that's not compatible with the others. If we split each gloss into a separate sense, I think that would 
be closer to what we normally do, but I'm not really sure I think that's the best approach either. if we want to include all these 
latin names, shouldn't the first line be something like

hairy mite (in reference to a large number of species including Trombidiidae spp., Erythraeoidea spp., Trombiculidae spp., 
Tetranychidae spp., Cheyletidae spp.)

but my preference would be a much simpler
