Comments: | What's the source for "named after the Doria family" note and sense 2? I checked both links, no mention of the etymology, and only 1 sense in brit, daijs, daijr, nikk. I don't think there's a green-white-red casserole dish called ドリア in Japan, even if that might have existed once in Paris. I suggest removing both the note and sense 2. |

None of the current words "confirm", "verify", "validate", "affirm" or "identify" really make sense there in English. However, "review" would make sense. Also there is a "Tatoeba" sentence at http://tatoeba.org/eng/sentences/show/143226 in which 成績を確認したい学生は誰でも学生部長と面会の予約を取ることが出来ます is translated as "Any student who wishes to review his grades may make an appointment with the college dean." |
