For sense 2, they're called "rotary clothesline" here, but I don't know about elsewhere.

This a problem with text-glossing words written kana. The kana dictionary used by WWWJDIC for this has the Dioscorea tokoro material because it is flagged "uk" in the main dictionary. I have a "base" kana dictionary which overrides the automatically-generated entries, so I have put a combined entry there.
