Comments: | -痞える is not iK (in meikyo, gg5, nc). i suggest splitting it out as a specialized use of つかえる. all dics suggest it only applies to feeling emotional weight on one's chest, etc. -i suggest 閊える be the first entry to help distinguish from ささえる, which is certainly what one's first impression is on seeing 支える. gg5 doesn't even bother with 支える as a headword for this, and meikyo says that it really only applies to this (archaic) sense: 「差し支える」の古い言い方. this also means it is probably best to move the ichi1 tag to the new first headword, but that shouldn't be problematic since this is [uk] anyway, and therefore the [ichi1] really applies to the reading rather than the kanji |

Comments: | Are you sure? Seems like this common name is tied to (Ctenogobiops pomastictus) http://eol.org/pages/219476/overview I do see a "Lanceolate Shrimpgoby" though. Seems like the full name is Vanderhorstia lanceolata Yanagisawa, 1978. Not that I really understand these things but there's an entry for the Genus here: http://www.itis.gov/servlet/SingleRpt/SingleRpt?search_topic=TSN&search_value=172224 Anyway thanks for your good work, as usual. |
