Comments: | * Add [lsrc] * Give more idiomatic gloss * add katakana (as usual for words from Chinese) and alternative kanji (no 々) As suggested by the unusual kanji, this is from Chinese, a fact made clear from writing it Chinese-style and searching. (Also from asking your Chinese and Japanese friends and seeing that the Chinese ones know it.) However, it is generally written in hiragana (ワワ菜 and ワワサイ are extremely rare). |

Comments: | It was in the text which I was reading as "固型冷却剤". You have the latter 3 kanji in the dictionary as follows:- 冷却剤 【れいきゃくざい】 (n) coolant; refrigerant In context, a solid coolant makes sense. The above promotion gets some 800k Google hits and the same meaning is confirmed by some on-line dictionaries like Weblio. You also have similar usage for "固型" in the following entries:- 固型材 【こけいざい】 (n) solid material; WI1 固型遅延剤の投薬 【こけいちえんざいのとうやく】 solid retardant dosing; RW 固型脳 【?】 solid brain; WI2 I am not sure whether any wider combinations should be included [unless "solid brain" is an idiom!], but it may help to have the "solid" as a prefix which can be attached to some other existing entries in the main dictionary. Perhaps, if you include the above, it could be cross-linked to "固形" which has many more Google hits into the millions. |
