My apologies for the three separate entries. I should have posted them all into a grid, like I did with the repeated entries. I checked each individual part of the repeated entries before making the submisson.

As for the three separate entries, as I stated, "I have kept the above comments in one place just in case I have missed some obvious point ..."

I kept looking, but I did not see the obvious. I should have put them into a grid format in the same way as I did for the repeated entries and I may have spotted the different kanji. Sorry about that. I shall try harder next time.

There is a potential for WWWJDIC to repeat an entry on a later page. This is because the server doesn't keep a record of what is displayed, just a count of how many have been displayed and some entries occur more than once in the indices.
Did you notice that 公儀, 公義 and 公議 are actually three different entries? The kanji are not the same. They cannot be merged.

When searching for the above, I was looking at the number of entries with a similar reading of "こうぎ". When I got to the bottom of the page, it stated, "(Remaining (est.): 66)", so I clicked that and continued the process. Then I came across an identical entry to the above. I wondered how one could get two identical entries so just to be certain, I pasted both entries into a grid structure and, as far as I could tell, both entries were identical.

I then looked at some other entries.

The same applied to the following entry:-

Then looking further, I came across three entries for "公義 【こうぎ】". However, they all had differing meanings and usage. That seemed to be a potential problem for the novice who may get to one entry and assume that it conveys the total meaning so I am wondering if the three entries should be merged so that the total meanings for "公義 【こうぎ】" will be clearly presented with one search result. The following entries are the three referred to:-

公儀 【こうぎ】 (n,adj-no) imperial court; shogunate government; authorities; public affairs; official; government
公議 【こうぎ】 (n,vs) just view; public opinion

I have kept the above comments in one place just in case I have missed some obvious point, in which case you can eliminate the above in one stroke, so to speak. Anyway, I hope that the above is useful.

I think the usual thing to do in this situation is to create a new 斃れる/仆れる/殪れる entry and have an x-ref pointing to this entry's "die" sense.

I see 新和英中辞典 has まいつき as the primary entry and crossrefs まいげつ to it, and GG5 has it the other way round.
As stand-alone kana まいつき is more common by far.

From my experience, まいつき is a much more common pronunciation than まい
げつ. Is there a good reference to use to confirm which reading is more common 
that I should include in future submissions?

This is commonly a suitable translation in my experience, and one which is often the only feasible translation in context.
Example: 少し前からネタ切れで面白いのが思いつかない。むしろ今のつまらないネタを視聴者に許してもらえるのがありがたい。
"Rather" and "instead" do not fit here at all, whereas "if anything" is spot-on in terms of nuance.

There's a problem in that めっちゃ is aligned with 目茶 and 滅茶 (both ateji), and  むっちゃ (if it has kanji at all) would be 無茶 (as with むちゃ). It probably should be merged with 1530670 (無茶/むちゃ).

I’ve given a v. brief gloss, as it’s just an archaic version.

I’ve added the alt. kanji 仆る and 殪る (not in refs for たおる 
but in たおれる) as they do appear at the frequencies you’d 
expect (given frequencies for たおれる).

Yes, GG5's "joint shoulders" is a bit weird.

Adding b/c idiomatic and pretty confusing in English (we 
don’t have a corresponding short idiom).
I saw this in a context that suggested it as [vt], in sense 
“put one’s arm around another shoulder”, but this might be 
pushing it.

(It was on “list of forbidden activities” in a lounge, and 
as with the “no dancing” sign was observed more oft in the 
breach. And people complain that there is no irony in 
Japan.)
