OK, I have proposed a さかなにする entry, and I'll close this.

I'm not sure.  Google hits show that "さかなにする" also quite frequently means 'to have as a side order (to be served with drinks)', 'to have the fish', etc.  The ~にする can be applied to any sense of either of the two entries for さかな, so the さかなにする entry would need to have three senses (or two if it is specified as 肴にする).  I would prefer simply to clarify sense 2 here, but it doesn't bother me to add the さかなにする (if all relevant senses are accounted for).

Aren't those examples really of さかなにする, which is possibly an idiomatic expression.
I feel Winnie's submission should perhaps be revived - someone seeing さかなにする would be hard put to find their way to sense 2 of this entry.

Yes, I wonder if the best translation might be 'segment'.  Probably needs to be run past an NSJ.

My first reaction was that it's just 放送 + 分(ぶん), i.e. part of a broadcast, but I see its use in sites describing radio programs is in places where it seems to mean the X月Y日 edition of a program, which is not what I took it to mean originally.
It could be a useful entry, but we need a good solid translation first.

I am not too sure about this submission in so far that I cannot find any basic translation, except for “broadcast minutes”. However, in context usage, that cannot really fit unless some period of minutes is quoted. The usage is high as confirmed by Google hits and by radio usage. Maybe it is just a short form for something longer, but I cannot see any reason for that in context. Maybe it is idiom or technical usage. In my mind, I have settled on the usage which I have stated above and, if that is correct, then all that remains is whether or not you wish to include it. In my way of thinking, if a searcher wants to know the meaning of “放送分” because it has been seen on the radio broadcasting websites, then it would be helpful to be able to look it up on your site.

Google hits are of course quite good. You have quite a few entries with "部" as the suffix; indicating a department of one thing or another. I wondered if you would like to add to the list by including this entry.

I know that one can go on and on forever in such a matter, but a police department may be justifiably included among the others like "sales department", etc. The text which I was looking at was "総務部・警務部" as a heading. As  you know, you have the first part, but not the second.
