Comments: | I think the intention was to forbid the はぐ reading for 折ぐ, but currently it is also forbidden for 剝ぐ, which means automated parsers using JMDict will assume that 剝ぐ must be read as へぐ. AIUI 剥 and 剝 are essentially two variants of the same kanji and the はぐ reading is OK for both. The entry for 剥がす/剝がす does not have an equivalent restriction, incidentally. PS I think I have the reading field syntax right, but please check it... |

Comments: | I don't think this entry is necessary, since it should be handled by conjugation tables in client software. For example, wwwjdic finds a search for 来い and returns: 来い (etc.) See: 来る It does NOT redirect you to 来る if you search for こい, however, this is an issue with wwwjdic's implementation, not with the dictionary itself. So I do not think 来い should be added here. ==== However, if it is to be kept, there are two issues: 1) this is not a verb, and therefore not vk 2) the second sense is not a real sense (therefore, I have transferred it to a note on sense 1) |
