Do you have a source for that? The kokugos disagree. As do I actually, if somebody asks me 炭酸を飲む? at dinner, I know they're asking if I want soda water, not coke or something similar.

GG5 does have this sentence: ►俺, 炭酸だめなんだよ. I can't drink ┏carbonated beverages [fizzy drinks].
but I think this is just sense 1, a more literal translation would be "I don't like carbonic acid" and it's understood from context the speaker is talking about drinks.

Comments on 卑語[2]. Marked 卑語[2] as [obs] because I don't think it is usable with the sense given here. Not sure if this is [obs], [rare], [dated]. IME won't even build this word(either kanji). The reason that ngrams for 鄙言 beat 卑言 would seem to be that this term has fallen into almost complete disuse. Google results suggests it is principally vocab trivia.

"language used in rural areas" is wordy, but this is not a term for anyone to use in practice either. Better that if someone search "vulgar" they don't think to use this. Given that this is rare and dated, given the kokugo definition "slang" seems out of place.

jlogos has "スラング" as 類語 on 卑語 for sense [1], but we don't have "slang" there (nor do I think we should).

I think sense 2 is always めおと/みょうと. GG5 points to ふうふ because めおと also has the "husband and wife" meaning.
The ok tag is usually used for archaic readings. Sankoku tags both めおと and みょうと as 古風. I think they should be a separate entry.
The vast majority of the 妻夫 counts come from 妻夫木.

正しいですよ。会話の場合、
4日は「よっか」、

改まった場では「にじゅうよんにち」と
読むこともあります。

どちらも間違いではありません。

にじゅうよんにち”ですか?“にじゅうよっか”ですか?

最近、この“にじゅうよっか”にすごく違和感を感じたのです。
“じゅうよっか”もそうですけど。

This seems primarily used in the 〜く form (as examples for 〜い in daijr and koj show, and Google gives > 10:1 堆く:堆い), and GG5 gives only the 〜く, so it seems ok to have a separate entry for this.
BTW, I saw as ×堆高く but this is v. rare online, so not bothering to add.

generalizing first sense slightly; resorting last two senses---all dictionaries i
have access to (except kojien) either put the bridge sense before the mountain
sense or else omit the mountain sense entirely. "vicinity" would seem to be the
better translation of ほたり, etc. and prog waei has: "二人は橋のたもとで会った --

This was in the text which I was reading. It gets a good measure of Google hits. Meaning, picked up from Google search, fits context of the text.

Maybe upon your confirmation, it could be worth including.

Caution says that kanji are not valid, but it is used often without kanji so I am not sure how one conveys that.
