http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipkin
  Comments:
Just a note (on *not* adding a gloss):
GG5 gives “pipkin”, which is a similar type of pot (in the West), but I’d suggest against it, as there are distinct varieties (as Google images and en:WP make clear – pipkin has a clay handle and 3 feet, while 土瓶 has a usual loose handle and no feet).

  Comments:
I'm suggesting this correction because the current meaning can be misinterpreted as the cat starting off with two tails (as some sort of birth defect), which instead are a result of the transformation of an old cat into a Nekomata. When the cat transforms (because of old age), then the tail splits. Also the current meaning could be interpreted as the already Nekomata (because of the two tails mentioned before) being able to further transform itself into a terrifying creature, but I haven't found any reference for that in the japanese wikipedia page in the section about the "house cat Nekomata". All I've found is that it either deceives (老いたネコは『猫股』となって人を惑わす) or brings harm to humans (飼い猫も年を経ると化けて人を食ったりさらったりする).
Some nekomata depictions in the ref. above.

from the previous daijs link, it says "山中に棲む巨大な獣" and in the previous wikipedia link it says "山の中にいる獣といわれるもの".
Essentially there are two different version of what a nekomata is, one is an old house cat that with age turns into a nekomata, the other one is a beast that lives in the mountains to being with

(BTW, my previous proposed addition of “trading” etc. should actually have referred to the 6th definition in my 広辞苑, whose first half is “guild”, and whose second half reads:
また、問屋・仲介業者あるいは単に商店を指す。
As per Rene’s comment, this seem more likely to simply be destination, probably 行き(いき/ゆき) w/o the okurigana. Thanks!)

スーチカーは、昔、冷蔵庫の無い時代に豚肉の保存食として広まった沖縄の伝統料理。塩に漬けこみますが辛みはなく、特にお酒の肴として喜ばれる一品です。

I'm not too familiar with western or Japanese "wrap towels", so I'm not sure exactly how closely the two match up in terms of use. Google image results seem to be fairly close, though "wrap towel" results seem to mostly be a type that goes up under the armpits. Meanwhile, "ラップタオル" results include both those and a type that goes over the shoulders.
