  Comments:
From sanskrit サンスクリットのナラカnaraka, these all seem to be based on phonetic readings.

Quite a lot of kanji trivia here. Someone actually stuck 那落 on a book cover or something though.

捺落 is just a variant/obsolete kanji of 奈落, I can't imagine it's a huge loss even if daijs notes it. Gonna swing for the fences and [sK] it.

When I do an image search for 捺落, I don't actually get 捺落, I get the full form: 捺落迦. Seems like it was a poetry collection long ago too? (nikk).

I'm surprised to see the cross-reference return. If I were using jisho.org, searched for ハニカミ, got this reference, and then saw [see=含羞], this would indicate to me that 含羞 is a *better* way to say "bashfullness". Obviously it is not.

If there were kanji on this term, I would understand "oh, these are two different readings of the same kanji, that's what the [see=] is for". With the kanji gone, this cross-reference seems to do more harm than good.

That's why I removed [see=] in the original edit.

Maybe we could move [see=] over to the 含羞 entry instead? That will get less-popular-entry pointing at more-popular-entry. Even there, no one will understand that these terms are related by kanji.

  Comments:
Masses of Google hits for the first, a good number for the second.

Francis has a bad habit of making submission for a + b, but in view of the following, he thought that it may work for you because "bad habit" must be even more common amongst people than bad colds, bad news or unsavoury rumours. Perhaps we all have "bad habits", so perhaps they should not be called "bad habits"; maybe they should be called normalities. In which case this submission would be defeated by default.

悪い知らせ 【わるいしらせ】 (n) bad news
悪い評判 【わるいひょうばん】 (n) unsavory rumor; unsavoury rumour
悪い風邪 【わるいかぜ】 (n) bad cold
