I have made the submission on this entry because it was the first one that came up.
Google gives the added entry much more hits. My kenkyusha gives the amended reading; which seems to be correct.

However, you have another entry for this, namely:

My belief is that you may wish to delete the submitted entry and change the entry above to include "かん高い".

Significantly elaborate – many shades of meaning, as per 国語辞書
Basic sense is “initiate (in esoteric Buddhism)”, which in Japan means “Tendai & Shingon”, but it’s also a specific rank, term of respect, and specific activities.
Heard in conversation (yes, really), referring to a marathon monk who’d completed the 回峰行 circuit twice (酒井雄哉 as it turns out). (Sense was “honorific”/“engaged in austerities”.)

A lot of Google hits. The above meaning matches the context of my reading of a text, i.e., "欲しくないくせいに (we should not be fussed, and yet.)"

The "くせいに" is in the dictionary and so it is just an add on to the above submission, but the total combination makes sense in the cotext of my reading.
