Confrontation seemed misplaced according to the j-j entries, moved it to the second meaning
Also the 2nd meanings (confrontation etc...) seems more prevalent in the examples I've found, so I would suggest swapping them around so to have "standing facing each other (e.g. mountains, buildings)" coming last.

  Comments:
Yes, but ブラコン is not an English term; it's a Japanese construction so its etymology is a bit messy.
While I don't really care too much either way, the fact that both Daijisen and GG5 leave this as a single entry is probably enough to convince me we should follow suit.
8. A* 2020-08-12 00:41:22  Marcus Richert <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
Did we actually decide we're not splitting abbr based on etymology? I don't remember that. The way I see it, sense 1 is "brocom", sense 2
is "blacon", and therefore they should be split.
7. A 2020-01-31 05:20:41  Rene Malenfant <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
kokugos always split based on eytmology, but they do not split in the case of abbreviations:
https://kotobank.jp/word/シスコン-519699

we also don't split acronyms/initialisms based on etymology, so it seems reasonable to me that this not be split.

There are plenty of English language articles that mention 和製英語 terms but you won't find them in an English dictionary unless they're used in English (e.g. salaryman). I think we should apply the same standard here with 英製和語 terms.

6 years later but I've got to say it's still obvious to
me that this shouldn't be an entry. It's demonstrably
not a Japanese word -- only an English one. As far as
Google can tell us, it was only ever used by English
speakers in English in Japan, never in Japanese by
Japanese speakers, outside of an extremely limited
amount of commenting on said usage by English speakers
in Japan. I'm not saying (and wasn't saying) that it
couldn't be possible for a reverse 和製英語 (英製和語?)
thing to happen where a word minted by foreigners in
Japan ends up entering the Japanese language - I'm just
saying it clearly didn't happen here. The usage of the
word among non-Japanese was merely *discussed* in
Japanese. That doesn't mean it was ever *used* in
Japanese.

In "棒振りみたいな一発ネタはもっと無駄です" it seems akin to "one-hit
