just to clarify that I added pol based on the 日本国語大辞典
entry which specifically says 「尻(しり)」の丁寧語.
I don't know if it's necessarily right.
おしり itself is not in daijs or daijr. Wiki's entry on 尻 says
"丁寧語では「お尻」または「おけつ」"

Polite? Just because it has お in front? Try Google images.
Reverse translations from many EJs are anything but polite.

The gloss "locust" is wrong for this kanji and reading, although many people seem to believe that cicadas are a kind of locust, if we go by the many "debunking" articles about this issue on the web...

JWiki describes a mixed language, which is different from a pidgin or creole, but リーダーズ has "混合語" as a translation for "pidgin", and the kokugos give "ピジンイングリッシュ" as an example. I think it's used for both.
This doesn't refer to contamination itself.

For sense 1, having put in glosses such as clinking/jingling/etc. I can see no point in explaining what they mean in English. The "expl" is explain what the word means when the short gloss does not. I think jingle/jangle/etc. need nothing further.
I can't see sense 2 being other than an example of "clinking" in sense 1. An onomatopoeic term for metal on something hard could be metal-on-metal, metal-on-stone, etc. I don't think we need to be bound by Kojien's literary and historical excursions.
Sense 3 - again the "expl" is simply explaining what the English means. I think we should expect the user to know what coquettish/flirty/flighty mean.
Sorry if I sound grumpy, but I think as far as possible glosses should stand by themselves, and "expl" should only be used when it is really necessary. The entry is very long already.

* Elab to other senses
* There are many possible glosses for “cheap, flirty woman”, but I don’t think they add much; see Wikt for details:
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wikisaurus:promiscuous_woman
* Separate off “metal fittings in setta” as separate sense (following koj) – both daijr and koj cite this usage, so seems useful, and distinct from metal jangling against metal (confusing to try to explain both at once)
(Heard on TV today, in sense of nattering)

"アホちゃうん?" gets 733,000 results. "アホじゃない" gets

the problem is that "ちゃう" is used the same way as "じゃない"
in standard dialect. seeing as there is an entry for "じゃない
か" an entry for "ちゃうか" probably makes sense, but I think
this is not more worthy of inclusion than "バカじゃないの?"

usual expression, but you can add ちゃうか to anything in

an entry. "いいんちゃうか" for example gets more hits (437,000

Also, "馬鹿じゃないの" for example gets 1,400,000 results but

Best to group similar forms together, even if they're not strictly in order of frequency.
Do we actually need those キバ forms here? Those counts are very low compared to 牙を剥く/牙をむく. Might be better just to add キバ to the 牙 entry.

This definition seemed to conflict with the regular usage of 回忌.

The only single news/modern-looking ref I found seems to be citing literature from the 1700s, which themselves are probably citing older references still.

There are book results, but many look like Chinese and/or old Japanese. [rare] just didn't seem to do it justice, but maybe just [rare]. Not in modern use, at least.

What came in originally was "掘り尽くす; 堀つくす". 堀つくす is pretty rare (wrong kanji and okurigana, but 堀りつくす is more common.
The submission was fine after a rework. For verbs please remember to make them "to ...".

"掘りつくす" was in the text. I searched and found the entry for promotion as "掘り尽くす". When I clicked on "G" search, the result was 9k hits. So I suggested promotion. I am not sure about your comment Jim. I did not keep a record of the actual submission. Perhaps I did make a mistake, but apart from the "堀りつくす[iK]" which I do not recall adding, the entry seems as it ought to be.

Rene seems to have marked it as "accepted" so perhaps my additional comment here is not now relevant.
