I'm fine with "Gorilla spp." or "Gorilla spp., esp. the western gorilla, Gorilla gorilla", but I think both may in fact be overkill and just having "gorilla" may be best. two separate senses is definitely overkill for a simple katakana word that is obviously translated as 'gorilla' |

Comments: | I don't think the sense in the daijs ref is covered so far, and I believe it's the same sense as in the form "今に通じる". E.g.: "今に通じる大師の教え" "中学生の頃の感想は今に通じるか?" I don't see anything in my JEs that covers this, and I'm not sure what a good gloss would be (particularly that would also cover the first example from daijs). |

Comments: | Should "bone storage urn" maybe be "funerary urn" instead? Because funerary urns are as I understand it for both just ashes and bones. And "ashes" in a Western context is apparently also mostly bone fragments, apparently. |

Comments: | In this case, if this is not a common Japanese expression, you may want to add "(in Okinawa)" at the head of the meaning/description. A note regarding this entry, as well as some other recent (and most likely future) entries that specifically concern the usage of certain expressions in Okinawa: the reference material (text at hand) comes from the 石垣市立八重山博物館(aka 郷土資 料館/歴史博物館). |

Comments: | That is a rather odd entry (it shows up when one uses "text glossing" on a text that contains the expression 順番に). Unrelated to the question that is often asked here, whether such an entry for a regularly formed expression is necessary, i would strike this one out because it is at best misleading and at worst wrong... |
