Comments: | it's now generally accepted that there are two species of gorillas. I'm fine with "Gorilla spp." or "Gorilla spp., esp. the western gorilla, Gorilla gorilla", but I think both may in fact be overkill and just having "gorilla" may be best. two separate senses is definitely overkill for a simple katakana word that is obviously translated as 'gorilla' |
