I don't mind removing them. I used to enjoy adding [ok] readings to entries back then but now I'm not convinced there's much of a point in having them. I just want to point out though that the Nikkoku on Yahoo back then was a way more comprehensive edition than the one on Kotobank now, so the fact that a reading/kanji/entry isn't on Kotobank doesn't mean it's wrong.

Yes, I agree that "mustelids" should not be a gloss. (It refers to the animals themselves as opposed to the family.)
7. A* 2012-03-26 00:42:53  Marcus
  Comments:
It's my understanding that X-ids refer to X類 rather than X
科, i.e. members of the 科, rather than the 科 itself. I
thought I saw a 科 entry where Rene had removed the "X-id"
gloss giving an explanation like that but I couldn't find it
looking through entries ending in 科 now, so it might have
been a different kind of entry. But if "mustelids" is
accepted here, shouldn't ideally each 科 entry have an -"id"
gloss as well?

  Comments:
This one may be obvious, along with 英語学科, but entries ending in 学科 could be either がっか or がくか as in 工学科. It all depends on whether it is X学 + 科, or X+学科. Perhaps 工学科 should be deleted too (it's not in dictionaries), but none of this is much help to language learners.
2. D* 2012-03-22 06:30:33  Marcus
  Comments:
suggesting deletion, since any language faculty/department
would be formed in the same way. It does get 76,900 results
but "スワヒリ語学科" gets 15,800, Danish gets 51,900 results,
Hebrew gets 20,600, etc...

"picnic sheet" and "picnic plaid" are barely used. I think one gloss is enough.

See below.

In the context of the text which I was reading, the reference was to stone walling (at the quayside). Google gives a lot of hits. your combined dictionary gives a range of related entries as follows:-

石積み 【いしずみ】 rubble works; RW
石積み 【いしつみ】 (?) ???; RH
石積み 【いしづみ】 (n) masonry work; masonry; rubble-work; stone bond; stone masonry; WI1

If you accepted this submission, it would make most of the above redundant based upon the a + b concept.

I was not sure whether it would have been best to promote one of the above rather than make a new submission, but it seemed good to display all the above items together in order to help justify the inclusion of this submission in the main dictionary.
