I don't think "O-Bon" is needed. It's usually written without a hyphen.
"Lantern Festival" usually refers to the Chinese festival. "Festival of the Dead" isn't common.
I don't think the x-ref is needed on sense 1.

* Split into two senses
* Add more senses to usual “be loath to” – this is an old-fashioned, fancy word, hence more literary glosses first
* Clarify other glosses: specifically about shunning an activity (environment etc.), not so much disliking generally.

Here are a couple of examples to support my contention that つま先 deserves to have "toes"
(of a human or animal) mentioned explicitly in the definition, and in the plural form,
and not just suggested as a less-likely possibility, as in the present definition:
"toe (esp. of shoe, sock, etc.)"
.
1) The tops of these shoes press my toes.
この靴は先がつま先に当たる。
2) As the obstruction worsens, a person may develop sores, typically on the toes or heel
and occasionally on the lower leg, especially after an injury.
閉塞が悪化するにつれて、典型的な場合にはつま先や踵、時には下腿にびらんが生じることがあり、これは特に外傷後に起こり

  Refs:
It doesn't mean "tiptoe" in the usual noun sense:
"a standing position in which the heels are raised off the ground and the weight is on the front part of
the feet, with the body often also stretched up to gain extra height"
(Encarta)
"the position of being balanced on the balls of the feet and toes with the heels raised —usually used
with on"
(Webster)
.
Webster says it can mean "the ends of the toes", but I think that's not a common usage of the word
"tiptoe". You don't say "I injured my tiptoe". The unambiguous "tips of the toes" can be used instead.
.
From the Wikipedia article, it seems to me that the main meaning is "toes" rather than "tips of the
toes":
爪先(つまさき)とは、動物(特に人)の足の先端部の指がある部分、または足の指の先の部分のことである。英語のtoeからトーとも言う。一本一
本の指に着目する場合には足指(あしゆび)という場合もある。
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/爪先
My translation: Tsumasaki, in animals (and especially humans), refers to the front part of the foot
where the toes are, or to the tips of the toes. It is also called "tou", from the English word "toe".
When focusing on the toes individually, they are called ashi-yubi.
.
That's why I give the plural definition "toes" rather than the existing definition "toe" -- つま先 seems
to refer to the toes as a whole, and not to individual toes.
.
Note that the Wp article says that digitigrade animals walk on their 爪先:
"多くの動物は、爪先のみを地面に接して立っており、これを趾行動物(しこうどうぶつ、digitigrade)という。"
爪先 here translates as "toes", not "tiptoe" or even "tips of the toes":
"A digitigrade is an animal that stands or walks on its digits, or toes."

There's another sense of this word that isn't captured in the current meanings, and it's one I've seen a few times. For example, in the sentence 本校について説明した方が良さそうだな。 It's something like "would be good (to do)" or "would be a good idea"... I saw it defined on one web page as "sounds good" (as in "sounds like a good idea" not as in a pleasant audio experience). If you understand my meaning, perhaps you have a good way to put it into words? I don't feel like I'm doing a great job.

I seriously doubt this is from German "Wunderbar" rather than
English "wonderful" - German "wu" is usually ウ, not ワ. Not to
mention it doesn't make any sense for "ホー" to come from "bar"
rather than "ful". I suggest merging with ワンダフル.

closer to your original gloss. I removed the "consent" part

closer to what daijs says.

Note to align with xref when settled. As a final comment, I think "sulky look/face" is close if you think it's absolutely necessary, but I really think "sullen" is off the mark(too severe).

sankoku places this entry *under* a top-entry for the xref. writes this in hiragana as as ふくれつら(under ふくれっつら). I agree the づ would usually go there, but this seems like an exception. yourei seems to confirm that even if old kokugos list it, づら is at least obsolete. (if we leave it unmarked, learners will convince themselves it's "fine" either way, which is a problem because づ is what you would guess).

I found this as クラリネット吹き in a context that means "clarinet player". When I looked it up, I found references to クラリネット吹き(http://ameblo.jp/junkocl/), フルート吹き(http://wing.zero.ad.jp/dufrene/), and more, and it seems like it is also used to mean "playing (a flute, clarinet, etc)". I am not 100% confident in that meaning, though, so I have left it off. Please add if you think it's appropriate.

these three headwords all get less than 100 google hits. since it's an obvious literal translation, i don't think it's needed. for E-J translation, the more natural translation is simply みなさん.
1. A* 2012-12-11 19:02:04  winnie <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
In looking up this term, I found several variants, but this one (with the alternate さん・さま・様 endings) seemed to be most common. Since the literal translation is "Gentlemen and Ladies", I thought it might be worth noting that, but I couldn't figure out how to properly use the [lit] tag. Also, I found the term written with both "並びに" and "ならびに", but I didn't know if adding three more variants to the Kanji field -- 紳士ならびに淑女の皆さん;紳士ならびに淑女の皆さま;紳士ならびに淑女の皆様 -- would be appropriate, particularly if they also have to be added to the [restr] tags. It would make the entry huge.
