Just saw used as "to put up a magic barrier", the result was a translucent spherical "aura" surrounding two unconscious people, about the size of a tent. So it matches "to put up a tent". Comments: | Apparently, while both senses are athletics wear, the more common meaning in Japanese is actually just a skirt without attached shorts. |

Comments: | I ran across the phrase "喝采をおくる" but I didn't know which kanji would be used for おくる (送 or 贈). A google search revealed that it's 送る、 but the entry for 送る doesn't include this meaning, so I thought a separate entry for the phrase might be appropriate. Alternately, or additionally, the entry for 送る could be expanded to include this meaning. |
