Comments: | Nominalized form of 移し替え, used with する (same article, used as 移し替えする) (Yes, I know it’s a bit redundant to use 移し替えする instead of 移し替える (when it’s not 敬語), but it seems to be a common enough usage.) |

Comments: | Google hits show some 17k. Some confirm the reading. Some confirm "feather". However, Google Images do not show much in the way of "feathers". The text which I was reading would fit "feather". Your reference [A] gives "feather, feathering and pencil". If one takes the concept of "feathering", then the Google Images may well also fit. I hope that gives you sufficient confirmation in order to promote this entry. |

Comments: | Correct reading is タヒチとう. Already an entry in enamdict. perhaps useful in edict itself, but that's always Jim's decision. Adding adj-no to account for the タヒチ島の entry, which cannot be included, because that's not the way edict handles ~の adjectives |

Comments: | If you were wondering whether this headword should be promoted, I would note that you have the following already in the main dictionary:- 学期末 【がっきまつ】 (n) end of term; end of semester Perhaps it may be helpful, in confirmation of the readings for the researhers, to include the other similar expressions as well. I believe that the inclusion of all of them would help with confirmation of readings for the researchers who are not reasonably well versed in the language. |

Comments: | Google picks up 250k, reading seems all right and it is confirmed in many Google entries. The last two meanings would match up with context of the work I am reading. Perhaps it deserves promotion and that will remove any doubt about reading for the searcher. |

Comments: | is there any evidence for this actually being used in japanese with this meaning? (as opposed to it just being used to mean "wiki wiki" in things such as the "wiki wiki shuttle"?) if it's only being used as a translation of hawaiian proper nouns then it probably shouldn't be included in edict itself |
