FWIW it has a section in Naoko Chino's "All About Particles".
9. A 2020-01-23 22:54:08  Robin Scott <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
We have prt because the kokugos classify it as a 接続助詞 (conjunctive particle). I checked a few other 接続助詞 entries (ば、から、けれど、ながら, とも) and prt is on all of them (often as the only PoS).
Unlike regular conjunctives (接続詞), conjunctive particles are always attached to the previous word or clause (i.e. they can't start a sentence or clause).
Whether or not "[prt, conj]" is the best way to indicate this (if we want to maintain the distinction at all) is probably a topic for the mailing list. But for now, prt is fine.

On further study and reflection, I think the person who originally entered this
didn't quite understand type genus and type specimens concepts. Because
almost all of Chaetodon has チョウチョウウオ in its name, does not mean that
when you see "チョウチョウウオ" by itself that it could represent the name of
any member of the genus. Its a specific species name on unless you happen
to see something that says the name is in a list of genera or has a 属 after it.
Move to strike what is now the second meaning of this word as I know of
nothing which supports the theory.

wikipedia entry on this fish is horrible. Claims the fish is endemic to Oceana,
which is misspelled Oceania... and claims fishbase as reference:goo does a
verbatum plagarism.
fishbase entry is likewise confusing because it says: Eastern Central Pacific:
endemic to the Hawaiian Islands and Johnston Island. Western Central Pacific:
Australia

How can a fish be endemic to Hawaii and Johnston, AND be in Australia? That
makes absolutely no sense unless somebody in Australia let a pair loose and
now its an invasive species.
  Comments:
Decided to stick to fishbase leading name... and name for which an obvious
Japanese English pair existed. Otherwise I would also add... (short list)

"kole tang; yellow-eyed surgeonfish; Yellow eye kole tang, Yellow-eye tang,
Goldeneye tang, Spotted surgeonfish, Bristletoothed surgeonfish, Goldring
surgeonfish, Spotted surgeonfish, spotted bristletooth surgeonfish; Slender-
toothed surgeonfish, Yellow-eyed surgeonfish, Yelloweye surgeonfish,
Goldring bristletooth, and Spotted bristletooth."
