aozora is a big place, and it doesn't function as a dictionary/encylopedia, so it's not much better as a usage example than just 'internet'.  would you mind giving the sentences and an http link to where these things come from when you cite it?

according to my kanwa jitens, 戍る[まもる] refers specifically to 'protecting the border', so a note might be needed.  i'm sceptical of 目戍る, which has already been entered as みまもる.

I didn't spot how little support there was for おおかわ.  Anyway, even less reason to merge them.

Well, I'm rather certain it actually does have that reading (see 大河 【おおかわ】 Ookawa (p,s) in JMnedict), but Kojien, Daijisen, Daijirin, Wikipedia, Meikyo, and the various J-E dics all have only たいが, when it would have been quite easy for them to add it to their 大川[おおかわ] entries.  I'm tempted to just put all the usage tags on たいが, call おおかわ a name and delete it from here.

I found it interesting that 'agarikamachi' is the reading that found its way onto the web when it's referred to in 'English', and あがりかまち is the reading used in 和英 dictionaries but あがりがまち is the primary (and often only) reading given in 国語 dictionaries.  Everything does seem to be in order as it is, though.

certainly a big improvement; not 100% sure about including 'swear' in sense 3 though, since the example sentences show that 'swear' actually comes from 誓う.  maybe better just as 'by' or 'upon'...  (incidentally, i thought this was a very interesting choice for an example of −にかけて: 「真実を語ると誓う」 It appears that they forgot they were writing about −にかけて.)
