If it had be "a tent" I wouldn't have edited.

Just saw used as "to put up a magic barrier", the result was a translucent spherical "aura" surrounding two unconscious people, about the size of a tent.  So it matches "to put up a tent". But it just popped into existence, and doesn't seem to match sense[2] otherwise...  hmm.

Regarding the POS debate, I thought that the tag was 
exclusive to cases where the する verb is not part of the 
word and must be added after it. e.g. 理解ー＞理解する。
Having the vs tag cover both those cases and the cases where 
suru is part of the expression e.g. 気にする could be 
potentially confusing, especially to software. I'm afraid it 
could confuse third-party (e.g. rikaichan) conjugators. I 
also noticed that some entries already use the vs-i tag. 
Wouldn't using the vs-i tags keep things separate and more 
logically consistent?

Well, appropriately enough, the Oxford 
Dictionary has the answer. The proper 
definition of the Oxford comma is “a comma 
used after the penultimate item in a list of 
three or more items, before ‘and’ or ‘or’.”

I don't have strong opinions on this topic but 
Jim has expressed a preference for the Oxford 
comma. My only preference is for consistency.

gg5 gives the reading as makurasen but I heard it pronounced makurazeni just today, as it is in RH. If you do a comparative Google search for まくらぜに vs まくらせん, you'll find that the hits for -zeni are more appropriate.
JB: 中辞典 too. I included both readings.

I'll close this, but just note that it may be useful to have a tag for these 公式名 "official" names.

If we do decide we want all of them, I guess I'd be OK with that too. It's not like they're useless.

I think we need a policy on these 公式名. At present it's hit-and-miss. GG5 and ルミナス have them embedded in the gloss, e.g. "〔公式名〕 ケニア共和国 the Republic of Kenya. ", "〔公式名〕 オーストラリア連邦 the Commonwealth of Australia", etc.
Frankly, I think they're common enough and important enough to keep in JMdict proper.
(BTW, how about イギリス: "〔公式名〕 大ブリテンおよび北アイルランド連合王国"?)
