Comments: | Added (new) meaning #2; supplemented meaning #3. The entry for 滑る in the dictionary breaks it into 5 nuances/uses: するすると進む;なめらかですりぬける;地位が下がる;落第する;うっかりしゃべる. Since JDIC already has a separate entry for 口が滑る, I've omitted the last usage and have tried my best to incorporate the other nuances with this entry, but please change it as appropriate/necessary. |

Comments: | I saw this entry and wondered what "rambuctious" means so I looked it up at dictionary.com, thefreedictionary.com and in my English-Swedish dictionary and couldn't find the word anywhere but the word "rambunctious" was suggested for me instead. I did not know what the word "rambunctious" meant either but it seems to fit the other descriptions of 暴れん坊 pretty well so I assume rambuctious is a typo for rambunctious. |

Comments: | I glossed 16強/ベスト16 as "round of 16" and 8強/ベスト8 as "quarterfinals/quarterfinal round" because I think the actual use I've seen of those words fit that translation, but looking at the daijs definition for this (and 8) I'm not so sure any longer if they should maybe be glossed as "final sixteen"/"final eight, quarterfinalists". |
