"Arrangement" does belong with that sense but it's only used for music.
We should probably switch the order of the senses.

If the intended meaning was "esp in professional
billiards", wouldn't there have to be a particle like で
after "特に、プロの玉突き"?
_
Either way it doesn't seem to be very common, I've
attempted to find sentences of it being used like this
but I don't come up with many examples where it is
obviously referring to the player rather than the game. I
did check with a native speaker who agreed it could refer
to the player though, but...

  Comments:
Sorry if I'm being thick, but that definition in Daijisen's entry for ハスラー :"3勝負師。賭博師。特に、プロの玉突き。" reads to me as: "gambler, gamester. Esp in professional billiards".
I don't get from it that 玉突き means a billiard player.

the definition in daijr is "特に、プロの玉突き。" but it
refers to a professional pool player, not professional
pool.

There are 68 sentences; one with ふるさと and 67 with 故郷. My guess is that many people seeing 故郷 would think "ふるさと". For ふるさと 中辞典 has 【古里・故郷】. Should we have "ふる里,古里,故郷" or leave at is it is now? Certainly Googits for 故郷+ こきょう are far lower than for 故郷+ふるさと.

"Fixing an arrow to the/a string" is old-fashioned, whereas "nocking an arrow" is more commonly-heard. (Doing Google searches of each phrase somewhat corroborates this.) As such, I've inserted "nock" in front of "fix an arrow" to indicate this relative sense of usage.

The following "RHs" could be deleted:-
番える 【つがえる】 (?) ???; RH
番る 【つがえる】 (?) ???; RH
It also appears in children's stories, but in kana. If anyone searched the site based upon that, it would be good if this came up.
JB: Can you source the senses other that fitting an arrow? That's all I can find.

Enamdict entry corrected.

The 1923 building was demolished (in the 1970s?) and a clunky new one built. I stayed in the new one for a week in late 1981. The old one was partially resconstructed in the Meijimura theme park in Kinki. I visited it in 2001.
