Hmm. There are over 2,000 names entries ending in 池 (some end in 貯水池, 調整池, etc.) I haven't the energy to hyphenate them all. I feel "pond" is possibly better than "lake" for many of them. |

I think it's better with the hyphen. Shows that 池 is a separate word.
Surely it's helpful to indicate that it's a lake? |
