I agree that "Minami Ward" is fine. I think that should be our style for all non-unique 区s and 町s. |

I don't think "... (multiple cities)" is great. I don't think it will be obvious to all users what the intended meaning is. If we're not going to mention the specific cities, isn't it better as just "Minami Ward"? |

There is a heap of name entries of the XXX市南区 (and other YY区 patterns), e.g. 札幌市南区, 京都市南区, etc. I'm planning to just have the ward name and remove the longer compositional names. Before starting I'd like to have the basic glossing format of YY区 names agreed. I'm suggesting the above for names that occur in multiple cities, and for less common ones use something like "清田区 .... Kiyota Ward (Sapporo)".
