Shinmeikai, daijirin, nikk, and gendai reikai have entries for this term. Daijr and nikk cite 日葡.

Shinmeikai notes that 二の腕 originally referred to the lower arm, and that the "upper arm" meaning was originally non-standard. It says the "lower arm" meaning is practically never used now.
